These primary-aged students all have a minimum grade of 80% or better and come from low income families. They come to Casa Pacifica for 1/2 day to receive additional education in computers, English, ethics, values and one meal which is supported by Porlosninos. Guests can sign up to sponsor a child or meet one that they already support.
Independence Day at Casa para Ninos.
Today we are celebrating Mexico's Independence Day. Our teachers prepared a very fun day to celebrate. We started with a delicious breakfast, after that we played typical Mexican games like lotería, pirinola and marbles. We made friendship bracelets and dance in the musical chairs. We also wore typical Mexican clothes. It was very fun day and Doña Ame prepared us a delicious pozole. We enjoyed it a lot.
