Sailfest is entirely reliant on donations - there are many different ways that you can help.

Donate by attending a Sailfest event.

Sponsor a student - as little as the cost of a coffee a day can make the difference between a child succeeding at school or dropping out.

Donate to help to improve facilities, provide healthy lunches, purchase school supplies and supply emergency medical funds.
You can request a tax receipt which makes your hard earned money go even further!

E-TRANFERS FOR CANADIANS The preferred method of payment for Canadian donors is doing an email transfer to zihuaporlosninos@gmail.com This is the most economical method which keeps more of your dollars helping children! Upon receipt of your donation, you will be contacted by Por Los Ninos for information necessary to receive a tax receipt.
General Funds
Your generous donation will help in accomplishing our mission by providing safe, healthy and sustainable schools that promote a positive learning environment. Matching grants are often available to double the value of your contribution.
Rice & Beans
Provides supplemental nutrition to the students at Casa para ninos, all from low-income families. This ensure that even the most disadvantaged child receives a healthy meal once a day. There is also an annual Raffle to collect funds for this program.
Sponsor A Student
US$350 a year - educates a bright young student from grades 1 - 6.
US$700 sends a student to high school which otherwise might not happen.
US$700 + will give a student a chance to continue their education at university or in specialty trades.
Funds can aso be donated to scholarships in general to help a student without a sponsor.
Emergency Medical
Families with sick children who need to travel to another city to see a specialist or have surgery have no government support for their accommodations or meals while in another city. This fund was created by Edita Kon to support those families.
