Agua de Correa
High School multi-purpose shaded area
Nestled in a valley above Agua de Correa this school has special programs like Marine Biology and cooking. In partnership with the city a new multi purpose shaded area was built. The shaded multi-use courts represent a significant enhancement for the schools in Zihua. They enable students to participate in activities such as band, drills, dance and sports which might not be feasible due to high temperatures. These facilities are a valuable investment in student' well-being and growth.

Rachel is a remote access computer hot spot that runs without internet. Students can now investigate safely and augment their regular curriculum in rural areas where internet access is limited or non existent. Our tech staff Sandra and Ivan will continue programing systems and teaching the teachers how to use the systems to enhance their classes.

Vista Mar teachers are learning to use the Rachel system. The classroom remodel will be complete this week, including air conditioning and tiles on the floors. Computers don't like dust or humidity. Thank you, Liz Tapia, for the air conditioner and for changing the electrical to 220 V to support the AC.
Frida Kahlo Secondary in Barra de Potosi received a shiny new stove for their kitchen. Thank you, Bill and Darla. This week, we received a hot water tank and a stove. Por Los Ninos finds a new home for everything they receive. Last week's donation of closet doors are now the shelves for the kitchen.
