Join us for an interactive culinary experience that engages your taste buds, sense of smell, and the visual delight of combining two favourite foods we love to eat and drink.

Beautiful glasses with the ingredients from each course will be passed around for each person to experience the components by sight and smell.
Then, a blend of these ingredients will be used to create four different courses to taste and enjoy by everyone.
Chef Kimmi will explain each course and bring her knowledge and expertise to “the table”.
10:00 am A 15-minute mixer serving Carmelita’s Signature Coffee from the Cafe and Carmelita’s brownie.
Course one:
Smell and See: Fresh strawberries,dark chocolate, ground esprresso and Oreo cookies
Taster: Dark chocolate dipped strawberry on an Oreo cookie sprinkled with espresso flakes
Course two:
Smell and See: Dark chocolate, coffee, cilantro, arugula, pink peppercorns, and raspberries.
Taster: Chicken rubbed with dark cocoa, pink peppercorns, and coffee, fresh raspberries, cilantro and goat cheese balls, arugula, and shaved dark chocolate.
Course three:
Smell and See: Dark chocolate, dried chilies, cinnamon, garlic, cumin, all spice, thyme, and coffee.
Taster: A taster spoon with CARMELITA’S MOLE with queso fresca and sesame seeds.
Course four:
Smell and See: Dark chocolate, toasted dark pumpkin seed oil, orange, and pepitas.
Taster: Chocolate Soup! Dark chocolate, toasted, pumpkin seed oil, swirled Cajeta, orange zest, Pepita‘s, and an orange cookie for dipping.
Course five:
Smell and See: Ground dark chocolate, pencillo, and milk. Pure chocolate
cold beverage from Pequeno Gran Cafe!

How to get there?
You can either walk or take a taxi, as parking options are limited or unavailable. A taxi ride from Kioto is approximately 80 pesos, while a radio taxi from the Partenón will cost around 100 pesos.The combi labelled "La Ropa" also leaves from central and Plaza Kioto and will take you to the bottom of the hill leading up to the Partenón.

Chef Kimmi hails from Montana, where she is now officially retired. In 2006, she served as the Executive Chef at Amuleto, a boutique hotel located above Las Gatos in Zihuatanejo. She later opened The Zihua Pancake House for a local entrepreneur in Centro. In 2010, she had a VRBO in Sian Ka’an, south of Tulum, where she cooked for clients at the off-grid property. Prior to her time in Mexico, Kimmi resided in Minneapolis, where she was the Chef at Dayton’s and at Byerly’s/Lund’s upscale delis, as well as a caterer, private chef, and chocolate expert, launching three “Chocolate Bars” that offered handmade chocolates, fondue, Mexican cocoa, and Chocolate Soup!
